How to prepare a resume for company-site applications
A job-board application and an employer-website application may use different resume storage. Prepare the file and follow the requirements shown on the current employer form.
Prepare the correct file
Open the resume you intend to use, check its contact information and make sure the text is legible. Give each version a filename you can recognize. Include only experience and qualifications you can substantiate. Follow the extension's saved-resume requirements and the employer's file-type and size limits; they may differ.
Check the destination before sharing a document
Open the job and read its application route. If it leads outside Indeed or LinkedIn, review the destination's domain and the employer information. The original posting helps you establish context, but the external site controls its own form and account requirements.
Choose the supported company-site path
Where your installed Alomar Apply build offers a company-site Start control, use it for that route after the confirmed profile and resume are ready. Some builds or employer portals may require you to complete the external form manually. A visible Start button does not establish that every form element or recruiting provider is supported.
Wait for upload completion
Look for the selected filename or upload acknowledgement. A file picker closing is not the same as a completed upload. If the form displays a file error, read it and choose a compliant version. Custom dropdowns, employer account creation and human checks may require your direct attention.
Review the employer's final screen
Read contact details, required answers and the attachment before submitting. After submission, wait for the employer acknowledgement. Save a reference number when available. If the page stalls, keep the current form and check its status; do not repeatedly submit or refresh an application with an uncertain result.
Use the application-route comparison and confirmation tracker to keep the source listing and employer receipt together.
